Check out Goh Nakamura's new album "Ulysses". He's a friend from San Francisco and has been working on this album since 2004. A few of his songs appear in Mr. Sadman.

Back from NY. Was a great time. Met some real good folks. The IFP grant went to a very worthy film, A Thing as Big as the Ocean, which was directed by my friend, Joseph Cashiola. Really happy for the boys from Baltimore, and am extremely grateful to have been a finalist. Here's a quick rehashing of the week's events.
Also, here are a couple Filmmaker Magazine blog entries from another Lab alumnus and friend, E.E. Cassidy, writer-director of We Are the Mods. We ran into each other at the airport then soaked it all in.

Heading to IFP's Independent Film Week. In conjunction with Rooftop Films, they're going to screen brief 2-3 minute clips from all the Narrative and Documentary Lab films on Wednesday, September 17 at Solar One from 8.30p to 10p. Drop on through if you can. Here are the details.

Al No'mani, who plays Mounir, was interviewed by the Iraqi newspaper, Alsabbah, regarding Mr. Sadman.
